We undertake development of gas burners for specific applications such as Flame Treatment gas burner for Plastic Printing, custom shaped gas burner for thermal sealing, automated gas pilot burner, etc.

Gas Fired Ceramic / Steel braiding Medium Wave Infrared Burner
This burner has perforated ceramic tile or braided wire mesh of special material and gas burns completely within this media. Thus, there is no combustion below or above this tile or mesh and produce practically minimum flue gases as there is no excess air. Infra a red radiation are very effective in heating only the object placed in front due to its penetrative ability and does not have to heat air for transferring heat to the object. This leads to extremely low gas consumption for the heat out put produced, quick heating and consequential improvement in cost & quality. Infra Red gas burners can be completely automated for close loop control and have wide control range of 1:5. There are different types of infra red gas burners -

a. Ceramic Burner - In this burner, combustion takes place within the perforated ceramic tile. This tile turns reddish orange and gives out medium wave infra red radiations (2.4 micron). Its source temperature is 950 deg C and it develops thermal power up to 120 KW/sq.m.(max). It find applications in industries such as; Textile, Paint, Powder Coating, Process Heating, etc.

b. Metal Fiber Burner - In this burner, combustion takes place within the thin mesh of special steel. This mesh turns reddish orange and gives out medium wave infra red radiations (2.2 micron). Its source temperature is 1050 deg C and it develops thermal power up to 200 KW/sq.m.(max). It find applications in industries such as; Textile, Paint, Powder Coating, Process Heating, Paper Drying, Coil Coating, etc.

c. Porous Burner - In this burner, combustion takes place within the perforated tile which has two levels of perforations. Lower region has medium size pores and the upper region has large size pores. Gas/Air mix enters in lower region where it gets pre heated and burns in upper region. The heat removal from the combustion zone is mainly by radiation and conduction but is also by convection. This tile turns bright white at full power and gives out short wave infra red radiations (1.7 micron). Its source temperature is 1450 deg C and it develops thermal power up to 1000 KW/sq.m.(max). It find applications in industries such as; Paper drying, Paint, Powder Coating, Process Heating, Coil Coating, etc.

Monoblock Gas Burner
Mono block gas burner has centrifugal blower with suction damper for supplying combustion air. Cylindrical blast tube of appropriate dimensions is fixed on the discharge port of the blower. This blast tube carries assembly of gas pipe, ignition electrode and flame rod. Gas solenoid valve is installed at one end of the gas pipe where as its other end is blind and carries a specially perforated disc called “Diffuser Plate”. Close to the diffuser plate but on inner side, small holes are made along the periphery of the pipe to allow gas discharge. The gas coming out from these holes thoroughly mixes with air discharged by the blower and the mixture comes out uniformly through the diffuser plate. When air / gas proportion is set correctly set, it can be ignited by a small spark. A Single Pole electronic ignition transformer of 100% duty cycle and ignition electrode, are used to produce this spark just in front of the diffuser plate. Another electrode is placed through diffuser plate such that it makes contact with the flame to collect ions in the flame. This is “Flame Electrode”. Diligent Autocon burner controller is used to monitor the safety inter locks such as Air Pressure Switch and correctly switch blower, ignition transformer and gas solenoid valve. These are available in different sizes starting from 50,000 k cal/hr to 5 lac k cal/hr. These can also be made optionally with mono-block type gas solenoid valve which has two valves in series mechanically and one flow control valve. First valve is quick acting and second valve is slow opening.

Forced Draft Pipe Gas Burner This is simple pipe burner in which compressed air is mixed with the gas and the mixture burns at the tip of the pipe.

Auto Ignited & Monitored Pilot Burner
This is an air aspirated small burner. It operates at around 600 mbar gas pressureand produces sleek pencil like flame. Ignition electrode and flame electrodes are mounted on the burner to convert it in fully auto-ignited and monitored pilot burner. This finds application in Hydrogen Furnaces for ensuring burning of hydrogen at the inlet and oulet of the conveyorised-system.

Air Aspirated Burners such as V - Burner, Ribbon Burner, Fish Tail Burner, etc.
V burner and Ribbon burners are special class of air aspirated burners in which contiuous flame of small height and long length can be obtained. Ribbon burner has only single line of flame where as V burner has two parallel lines. Our burners are available up to 6 ft maximum length. Fish tail burner looks like tail of the fish i.e. inverted triangle and is designed to obtain strong and high flame for specific heating applications. Our burners are compatible for automation with ionisation flame monitoring.

Gas Curtain Burner
Gas Curtain burner is specially designed burner to get curtain like flame which covers complete area of the furnace door. This burner is also compatible for automation with ionisation flame monitoring. This burner is used in front of the door of Carburising furnace.
